1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by The Muckshifter Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our customers (“you”, “your”). By accepting a quotation or instructing us to proceed with any work, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services Provided
We deliver a range of groundwork and outdoor construction services including, but not limited to:
We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services where necessary for safety, legal, or operational reasons.
3. Quotations
3.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Quotations are based on information provided and may be revised if site conditions differ from those described or discovered during work.
3.3 Any additional work requested after acceptance of the quotation will be charged separately.
4. Deposits & Payment Terms
4.1 A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quotation. This deposit:
4.2 The remaining 50% balance is due immediately upon completion of the agreed work unless otherwise stated in writing.
4.3 Payments may be made by bank transfer, cash and PayPal.
4.4 All work remains the property of The Muckshifter Limited until full payment is received.
5. VAT Information
5.1 The Muckshifter Limited is VAT registered.
5.2 All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT, which will be added at the applicable UK rate.

6. Scheduling & Access
6.1 Start dates are approximate and may change due to weather, supply issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
6.2 You agree to provide clear access to the site and remove or make safe any hazards that may hinder work.
6.3 Delays caused by restricted access or site issues may incur additional charges.
7. Materials & Waste Removal
7.1 All materials supplied remain the property of The Muckshifter Limited until paid for in full.
7.2 Unless stated, waste removal is included in the quotation; however, excessive or unforeseen waste may incur additional charges.
8. Guarantees & Workmanship
8.1 We guarantee all workmanship to be carried out with reasonable skill and care.

9.1 We follow all applicable UK Health & Safety regulations.
9.2 You must not enter or interfere with work areas or equipment unless authorised.
10. Cancellation
10.1 If you cancel after paying the deposit but before work begins, we may deduct any costs already incurred (materials, scheduling, labour planning).
10.2 Cancellations once work has commenced may incur charges proportional to work completed.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
